The presentation is aimed at trade fair visitors who have little or no experience with plastics for optical components.
The property profiles of standard materials for polymer optics will be briefly described and the basic procedure for selecting appropriate materials will be explained.
Recent developments are also discussed before typical faults that can occur during the injection molding of such components are explained.
It is shown how VIAOPTIC supports the successful implementation of customer-specific projects on the basis of many years of experience in both material selection and error prevention.
